Here are two more quilts bound today. The first is a racecar one. Look at the backing. What is the first thing you see when you look at it? I saw car tires. I was so excited to find this fabric to go with the racecar quilt. Then, after quilting it I realized that it was hockey pucks! Oh, well, boys like those too right?
The second quilt is for Kelli G. the lady in charge of Girls' State to say "Thanks for everything". She encouraged Ariel this past year and I knew a quilt was the perfect way to say thank you for everything she has done. She is very active with Veterans and is a Blue Star mom so I think she will like this one.
