Graduation

This is the picture the newspaper reporter took of my daughter giving her Valedictorian speech yesterday at graduation.  I was mighty proud :)  I can't believe she is grown and graduated already.  In a few short months, she will be off to college and I will be left at home with only boys.  Someone needs to come save me!  She is my Thrift Store partner, my fabric picker and my quilt partner.  It's going to be hard to let her go.  I'm sitting here at 6am waiting for her to return from Sober Grad Night.  They keep the kids out all night, playing games and having fun.

Congratulations to your daughter and you. My son was Valedictorian of his class in 1987. I remember how proud I was and how nervous I was for him. He went on to Gettysburg College and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001. Your daughter will make you proud again in four more years as my son did and always will make us proud. Congrats again.
