Blog Hop day 2, seeing stars today

http://blog.geneblack.com/
Pop on over to Gene's blog today and I'm sure you will be seeing stars.  He has a unique way to make star blocks and I love his waving flag blocks too.  Be sure to enter the giveaway for a chance to win a great prize.

I'm still trying to figure out my quilt pattern.  I got one quilt done, but it came out too small for a QOV and I'm trying frantically to upsize it in time for Thursday!  Every spare minute I have is spent sewing and cutting and measuring.  Boy, I wish I had EQ 7 now!  Oh, well, whatever gets done will be shown on Thursday.  Just like cleaning for company.  You are welcome at my house anytime, just as long as you come to visit me, and not my clean house.  That rarely happens :)

The first quilt I made will be given away tomorrow to a dear friend who does so much for our troops and I know she will just love it.  So nothing lost, eventhough the quilt was just a tad too small.

I love doing blog hops because it forces me to stretch out of my comfort zone.  If you ever get asked to participate, even if you don't think you have the time or skill, you should say yes!  You get lots of new friends and learn new things too.

Off to work!  TTYL
