Do you want to help make quilts for Orlando?

I read about the Orlando Quilt guild collecting quilts and squares to make quilts for the victims and their families.  All the details are being worked out, but if you are interested in helping out, you can read more about it on their blog.  You can make a quilt or make a square or 17 and send them to be assembled.  The pattern for the heart blocks is linked and looks pretty easy.

My husband is friends with a guy in Orlando whose best friend was shot and critically injured.  He plays an online video game with him and has known him online for a couple of years.  It's pretty interesting to me how small of a world this is.

I asked him yesterday if he could get his contact information so I could send him a quilt to give to his friend.  From what the news said this morning, all of the survivors were expected to make it, even the critical ones so that was good news.
