My daughter made this Dr. Seuss quilt for the Solano County Fair. She has made a quilt every year for the past 4 years. Every year she has gotten better. This year she said I could keep the quilt because she doesn't really like Dr. Seuss. Cool, a quilt I can finally keep for myself :) I got the fabric about 3 years ago and never did get around to making the quilt. I love how this one turned out. I always loved the Dr. Seuss books when I taught first grade. My friend Nancy and I would dress as the Cat in the Hat for Dr. Seuss day in March and Read Across America and read to the kids. I think I have every Dr. Seuss book there is.

What a great quilt! I think I have some of that fabric......somewhere..... hm.... maybe I should dig it out!
