quilt arrival update

The boxes are arriving! I wanted to post a quick update and let these wonderful ladies know their boxes of quilt tops and quilts made it safely.

Thanks to India Blandon from San Francisco for sending 11 quilt tops. There are variations like this one. I had sent her some pre cut squares, triangles and other shapes and she put them together so creatively! Thanks Indiana!
Next we have a finished quilt and 2 quilt tops and a backing from Linda Peterson in Weston, WI. The heart quilt top she sent is just gorgeous. You will see it once it is quilted :)
C Weber in Spring TX sent 8 quilt tops, all different and I especially loved this Japanese inspired lantern quilt. They are all so gorgeous and I'm going to enjoy quilting them. It will be hard to share the quilting on these tops :)
And finally, I got a box stuffed with 30 quilt tops from Ale Hogue in La Habra, Ca. She writes, "We have a large supply of tops this size as one of our members has devoted hours and years into making tops so we can then add batting, backs and quilt them for various charity projects." They are part of a group called Friendship Square Quilt Guild. I just love quilt guilds and wish I had more time in the day to join one myself.
There will be another update later today or tomorrow, just not enough time in a day!!!
