churn dash with a twist

I needed a quick baby quilt for my friend that I gave the t shirt quilt to today and had most of these blocks leftover from another quilt.  I had to make two more blocks.  But in total, the quilt took about 3 hours to put together.  I used the Accuquilt Studio Churn Dash die.  I'll be giving this to my friend tomorrow.

I just found this post - and I like your "twist" - ;))

I have the Studio Churn Dash Die and have a dumb question before I actually use it. If I layer 4 fabrics (2 sets of solid/print - RST) - I should get the 8 HST and 8 rectangles needed for one block - but won't I also get 4 center squares when I only need one? If I'm right - it makes me wonder why they didn't put the square on a separate die and double up on the HST and rectangles - ;))
