working hard

In Between working, I'm working hard.  The machine is humming away and seems happy to be back to quilting.  I know I'm happy to be cranking out the quilts fast and furious again.  Too many needs to be met, that's for sure!
33 days of school left and 33000 things still to do before the last day of school.  My son graduates and has decided on UC Davis for next year.  He will be close enough to home, but far enough away to have some independence.  He will live in the dorms and filled out his housing application yesterday.  He can still keep his job at the train museum as long as it doesn't interfere with school and he can still mentor the elementary school kids in robotics.  He's pretty happy with his decision and I'm happy to have one kid close to home.  He may end up living at home after his first year in the dorms and finding out that it's pretty hard to study sometimes.  But dorm food is pretty good, so I may end up moving in to one of the empty rooms and become a dorm mom. :)  I could quit my day job and just yell at teenagers all day.  Oh, wait, that is my day job.  Nevermind.
