I needed a baby shower gift in a Jiffy and also wanted to try out my new 3 1/2 inch tumbler die I got off ebay for the Studio cutter so when I combined the two, this is what I got. Took me about 2 hours to put it together, now I just need to quilt and bind and wrap around the cute little baby!
Well, when I cut out the pieces, of course, I ended up with waaaaay too many. So, here's the giveaway.
You have the chance to win everything you need to complete a quilt top just like this. Enough 3 1/2 inch tumbler blocks, the 1 1/2 inch inner border and 3 1/2 inch outer border. The finished quilt top measures about 37x40 inches and is the perfect size to cuddle that cute little baby that is coming into your life. What? No baby you know of? She just programs it and tells it what to do and she can go take a nap, read a book, eat some bon-bons and put her feet up. When the machine gets to the end of the row, it sits quietly and waits for her to come back and roll the quilt and do the next row. I added Carla to my google reader daily reads. I think one quilt is more amazing as the next, but I love the super size nine patches that she has kids making her to give back to the commuity. I have made that pattern...so satisfying for those sewers and for the babies who get them!
I like that bright bargello quilt.
I check Carla's blog almost every day and am partial to the puzzle quilt she quilted for me. However, I LOVE the brown and pink drunkards path she just came up recently after a guild challenge. I'm going to try to make one myself. You both are amazing women who are doing great things for your community and BEYOND!
The Vineyard's path is my favorite, I just love the colors. Then I would have to go with the Quilt as you go quilts. I am working on one of those right now :)

Because I'm on such a drunkard's path kick, I love fractured circles and gentle curves!
I can't decide which one I like the best. Love both the Vineyard Path because of the colors (blue and purple are my favorites) and Shari's Wedding quilt because of the simplicity but rich look.
I look at Carla's blog. Every quilts was unique in there our way. I loved the T-shirt quilt. How the blocks was set together and the background fabric was great.

Carla has a lot of pretty things to look at. My favorite in the Gallery was the Christmas HST quilt, and in the blog entries I really liked the lone star, but the quilts with the curved piecing were awesome, too.
Carla's quilts are so pretty. My goal is get a quilting machine just like hers. My favorite of all was the fact that she got the middle school Home Ec. students involved with quilting, that is awesome. And then send the quilts to Japan. She is just amazing on all she does for her community. And the women that come out and help her. She has a great bunch of girls. I hope the turtle quilt wins at the fair!

Although all of her quilts are beautiful, the one that spoke to me the most is Shari and Jeff's Rail Fence Quilt. I love it!!

This wasn’t an easy task. So many beautiful quilts in Carla’s blog!
I went through the pictures back and forth, reading the stories behind them and wondering which is the most most most spectacular in my eyes. After lots of debates, I decided to go with “Fractured Circles” which is really special in my opinion. The quilting stitches add so much style to this quilt!
I love the Gentle Curves quilt that Carla made at a guild workshop. I'm on our guild program committee. I'd love to learn to sew curves:)
