Superstorm Sandy Sunday

This one got cropped a bit in the picture, there is actually the side fabric on both sides of the quilt.  It is a super soft flannel and makes me want to cuddle up in it.

I love these strip quilts from maryquilts.com but sometimes the fabric isn't 42 inches wide and some strips are shorter than others.  When that happens, I can either have a 36x65 inch quilt, or add borders to the sides.  Our group likes to make them longer than the pattern calls for so they can be used by a greater size/age range of kids
