My friend at Layers of Hope is collecting quilts to deliver to the people in Washington State who have lost their homes to the firs. Would you like to send a quilt or help with postage costs?
I picked up the cord that connects the handlebar to the back of the machine and 'fingers crossed' think I have finally fixed my quilting machine. I'm going to load a quilt tomorrow and give it a shot, but I pushed the buttons and moved things around and it works like I remember. Who knows, I may be able to help make quilts again! It sure has been a long time waiting.

Where are you sending these quilts? I live in eastern Washington, about 80 miles from the fires.
