more quilting

My second quilt this year is more practice for the leaves pattern. 

Here's a close up of the leaves.  They almost look like hearts, but have the vein in the middle.

Here's another quilt for my friend Nancy's grandson.  She has 4 grandkids and this one has a map as the background.

Here you can see the waves pattern I quilted in the flag stripe.  Just trying something different in my quilting this year :)
