I love seeing how each of the different blocks looks with fabric placement. I am learning quilting on my own by trial, error and internet so color choices are something that often surprises me. See how the middle bottom block looks so different from the other blocks because the points are light instead of dark? I may end up replacing that one, or just find a place in the quilt for it so it doesn't stick out so much. I may have a couple more blocks like it as well. I think I have 6 purples and 2 blacks I'm working with on this quilt so there is only so much random to go around. I hope to have at least the top finished today, and maybe the whole thing done.
