Today was quilt day and the students from National Honor Society joined with the ladies from Binky Patrol to work on blankets for the students from Travis Unified. We made 3 boxes of blankets that will be given out this coming week.
I have lots of boxes of fleece that have been donated and we used the bigger pieces to make blankets for kids. We took the smaller pieces and cut up smaller blankets for the animals at the SPCA.
We had three bags of blankets for the pets and I had the kids from NHS drop the blankets off on their way home. It's so nice to have all of that fleece out of my garage and into the hands of people who will use it.
Why are you donating blankets to the students of Travis Unified? Fun to get two groups together to accomplish a goal! Did you get any pictures of the blankets for the kids or animals??
